Fine Line

In 2019, Harry Styles released his sophomore solo album, Fine Line. Inspired by design associated with the psychedelic pop and rock of the 1960s and 70s, Styles, creative director Molly Hawkins, photographer Tim Walker and team created a surrealist universe for the album’s photography. This lettering project is a reimagining of the album’s branding inspired by Walker’s signature fisheye lens.

Custom lettering inspired by Cheee (Ohno Type Co.), Scorpio (Photo-Lettering), Hoopla (Lettergraphics), Village (Photo-Lettering) and Orbit (Facsimile Fonts). Album title set in Trade Gothic Next Soft Rounded (Linotype/Monotype). Produced as part of the Alphabettes Mentorship program under the mentorship of Marina Chaccur.
